Aug. 25 (Bloomberg) -- ISoft Group Plc, under investigation for accounting irregularities, got new funding from banks and won a 153 million-pound ($288.4 million) health-care software contract. The stock rose as much as 61 percent.

Troubled healthcare software supplier iSoft said UK City regulator, the Financial Services Authority, is to launch a formal investigation into possible accounting irregularities at the company in 2004 and 2005. The Manchester-based company announced a formal investigation into its accounts for 2004 and 2005 earlier this month.
